made quite a bit today~ didn't do anything around the house, though...

Hello to all of my friends... I can't believe this! I have not even given Halloween a second thought, and after the last few weeks of surfing all of the fantastic blogs out there... Now, I've gotten the fever~bitten by that same Halloweenie bug! Seeing all of the great spooky stuff being made recently, I've too, been busy making ghostly goodies...only did three, though. Melissa, Carolee, etc. Ok, I'll stop for now...Back to the sunny and whimsical stuff. Bye for now, I've got to go and eat some Count Chocula!!! HA! Talk about creating a monster... :)

Sorry Christine, the above comment from Lauren is actually from me. I was signed in to my niece's blog and accidentally started my commenting before I switched back to my blog. What a goof I am! However she loves Halloween and all things morbid and ghoulish,it's her favorite holiday!

I've had halloween ideas floating around in my head since June, but sadly I haven't brought any of them to life yet. Your work is really cute, and so is your blog!

Hi Christina! Thanks so much for putting my blog button on your sidebar1 That was really sweet. I too love Halloween, but it's so hard to think about fall when it's still 115 degrees outside! I'll probably start playing when I get back from vacation!

This post reminds me of my childhood growing up in Independence, Mo. It was about this time of year before going back to school that the Halloween bug bit my sister and me. We would start creating a haunted house in our basement with whatever we could find. One of my favorite memories is of locating the perfect spot to display my sister's Barbie hairstyling head!

So you are not far from where I grew up. I did a signing at Nell Hill's in Kansas City, but am eagerly awaiting my next visit to see her shop in your "neck" of the woods!

Oh, these are the spookiest and the CUTEST! And on a random subject...I saw on your profile that you're from Atchison-- I think I saw a ghostly special on Discovery Channel or something about your town??? That's the coolest! I love a good ghost story :D

Glad you like the blog banner Story Book.

I adore Halloween and that crow is just too precious!I've already begun art for Halloween and the latest creation I have made is a little too spooky to show just now; I'll save it when it nears "The HAUNTED NIGHT"!

Glad to see the bug has spread. I don't know about you but, if I don't do my Halloween crafts now I wont have time to do my many Christmas crafts during Halloween.
LOL!!
Enjoy the rest of your summer.
