So much to do...

I think I'll be going back to what I originally loved doing... drawing homes. Nothing permanent... I'll give these "altered" eyes a rest for now. HA! I find myself constantly dabbling in so many different art mediums and go crazy wanting to create so many different types of art...I've realized that I have way too many unfinished projects going on. Ahhhh, this takes me back.... I really love the old architecture~ especially in our small, historic town! Here are a few examples of my work.... not the best quality photos, but hopefully, you can at least, see the detail. Excuse the "Windows and Doors", my flash bounced off of the glass pretty badly....A special thank you to Liz and Linda for commissioning me to do this~ about 5 years ago! :) I sketched our Abbey, an old house on the corner and the home that we rented 14 years ago is at the very top~ it was never inked, so it's a bit hard to make out, sorry! The gazebo was changed a bit from the original view. I've done a handful of commissions and it's always a joy to see the owner's face upon completion. The Holidays are right around the corner~ what a unique gift. I can sit on location or draw from a snapshot. If I do have photos, I just ask for a clear frontal view and possibly, an up~close of ornate details around the home. I have so much fun doing these, I'll keep you posted on my progress! Thanks for looking!
Hugs,
Christina

Hi Christina,

What beautiful drawings love them all but the last two are my favourite.
So much to do... I am the same and yet I am sitting playing on my blog
when I should be making a bear or doing something.

These drawings are gorgeous! My grandma once had a clock made for her that was a cross-stitched version of her house. She love it so much, because it was unique to her. This is a great idea!

I agree with you, and do the same,
changing my art addiction around. Making altered art or drawing, I do the same only I don't draw buildings - will post some of my drawings 4 u sometime. YOUR buildings and such are done very well - you are so multi-talented. I have little areas of my work room with different projects being made - I am bad about starting something new and then moving on. Good to know it is prolly what most of us artist do:) Enjoyed reading your post here Christina

Love the drawings, there is something very relaxing about drawing-isn't there?
I too have a hard time concentrating on one artform, so much so when someone asks me what I do...I honestly don't know.

Fabulous transition for awhile. I feel a change in the air. Sleepiness, transitions, delays. I guess I must listen and revel in the new and the old. Blessings friend. You are a gifted artist!

Hi -
I love what you do - the ones you show are fantastic and I think I'd like to have one of my home. I would make stationery from it like you get at hotels. Yeah!
