i believe that it is time to retire the "artist" in me. thank you sooooo much to all who have supported me and cheered me on. this is a feeling like i’ve never felt before, i seem to have lost my mojo… my desire to even step foot into my studio and create anything at all. it’s been a while now and i'm not quite sure if it will ever come back.. . who knows what the future holds. :) thanks again to all of my wonderful friends out there!! no worries, i’ll still keep you up to date on my life in general!
hugs to you all!

I know the feeling all to well! You just need a breather, trying something new.
I am feeling the way you are. I have absolutely no desire to create my dolls. I am even thinking of cancelling my table at the show in October. I rather spend the summer outside with my family instead of in my workroom and I'd rather be garage sale shopping and trying new things.
Let's venture out into uknown territory!!!
xxoo
Once creative...ALWAYS creative...it is just in you! I think part of being creative is not being afraid to try new things...so watch out...new adventures are coming your way:)
YAY...Happy Summer to you!!!
Love,
Kristin
What....no way Christina! You've been through a lot lately, you just need a well deserved break. The mojo may decrease and even stop at times, but only temporarily!!!!! You're a creative soul- maybe some time is what you need sweetie..........and who knows, maybe there ARE some new ventures waiting for you out there! When one door closes..........you know the rest! But your talent, it's always gonna be part of you!
love u! xoxox
I echo the comments of the other ladies...the artist in you may need a break but you have a creative soul and you will find something new to stir your creativity. Take a needed break, enjoy life and see what happens!
I'm up for that cup of coffee when I hit town sometime!

Hi Christina,
I so often feel like this and I have put my bears on hold for a while.
Just take a break for a while and you will soon feel like getting back into the studio and creating again.
Hope that you are having a lovely week
dear friend
Hugs

Oh, dear, Christina! Every once in a while we all need a break ... enjoy the change.
Have a beau-TEA-ful week.

You're an artist, what do you expect, the better you are the more you will get these moments, yes indeed...I know, In the morning I create, in the afternoon I destroy, oh the incredible moodiness of artist...do you know I wrote 6 novels, truly, kept two, lost three, sent one, and totally stopped...whatever it is, you just have to go with the flow, the Christina flow...you can go anywhere, do anything, you can be a car repairman, or a dishwasher, or a broom sweeper and you can change the universe with your smile..the art is you, wherever you are, the place will be better...it doesn't matter, how you display your art, you can love a book and never open it, you can look at art in magazines and profit from it, the only thing you have to do is be you. You have so much, just standing up in a crowd smiling, the universe will be better for it. xxx Drop in, sometimes lol
Well my dear, if you don't create in one way, you will in another!
Create a Sandwich,Create a Bed,,Create a new Friendship...life IS all about Creating YOU!
Marsha is right, something will come along!
Big Hugs,
Shell
I hope that your moments of respite give you inspiration. Sometimes breathing space is where you find the happiest part of yourself. I want to recommend a wonderful book and visualization track (very soothing) by Sheri Gaynor. The Book is Creative Awakenings. She also has on her web a way to get audio meditation tracks that are exactly what I use (especially the second track)when I have doubts, need direction or just to remember the little things that you find when you quiet your mind. I am here always, you know this for sure. So, if you ever need to write, just do. Blessings.
That's what I was saying about a week ago....where did my muse go!! May I offer my cure(s) for overcoming creative inertia? .....a walk in a meadow (preferably at sunset), a stroll down the beach (pick up and examine as you go), buy an English Lavender plant and a scented geranium plant (sniff both daily), read a poem a day, look through your picture albums and marvel at how the years are passing too quickly......
I started with those. The muse returns eventually, but first we need to nurture our souls. Sort of like what a good sleep and a hearty meal do for us physically. All the best.
